The first thing you may notice is that not all these photographs are of great quality, correct! Some of these photos were taken in the pre-digital era and are scanned from prints, some were taken with low quality digital cameras and some with an iPhone. They are on the site because I like them and I also think they are representative of my style of photography and hopefully they tell a story. I now use a professional Canon camera (currently 5D Mk2) with growing selection of Canon L Series lenses. Inspiration as a photographer includes the genius of
Jeff Ascough. I also use the DSLR for occasional video projects and have a
Vimeo channel. For video the light came on for me when I saw the 5D MK2 DSLR work of
Devin Graham on You Tube and also the creative style and editing of
Matthew Brown on Vimeo. His video "Look up to the stars Portugal" is just incredible and I've never seen anything quite like it. Enjoy the site, feel free to add comments in the guestbook.
